Spurs ban Vuvuzelas

Tottenham have ensured a swell in their numbers of supporters for the coming season, by being the first Pemiership team to publicly ban vuvuzelas.

The plastic horns, the one thing more controversial than goal-line technology and Luis Suarez at this summers finals, have been sold by shops in England and were already banned at this years Wimbledon tennis championship. However Spurs have now become the first team to ban them from games this year, meaning White Hart Lane will be vuv-free, surely bringing a relief to both fans and television commentators.

Meanwhile this pic might make you smile (no not because Robbie Keane thinks he’s gonna be playing for Spurs this season). Taken from when San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith and offensive lineman Joe Stale visited training. Note the completely bemused expressions on the left and front:

Spurs players meet er....what are your names again?
