(1): Tom Fitzpatrick’s dream is to make theFC100 a top footballing website, starting from this very blog right here. Although privately a fanatical Liverpool fan, Tom’s first experience of a football game was a particularly dire 0-0 draw between Crystal Palace and Grimsby in the 1st division. There (Selhurst Park) he fell in love with the beautiful game, and John Salako.
A promising winger as a youngster, Tom was once linked with Altrincham. When asked, a spokesperson for Altrincham declined to comment. Tom now works for the Evening Echo in Cork, Ireland and although he’s not yet been offered a place in the sports section of The Times, his mum reckons it’s only a matter of time…..bless……

2) Peter Tobin was once embroiled in a tabloid spat featuring several high-profile footballers. After allegations were passed around like a seventeen year-old at a hotel roasting he decided to turn his back on the cut and thrust world of Tabloid Journalism. Here he has found a refuge. Safe from the overbearing and often overweight editorial team his writing has flourished. Incorporating the day’s footballing news with some witty witticisms and a pinch of literary genius, he has brightened the day of many around thefc100 office (NOTE TO READERS: there is no office) Describing his own style as distinctly Postmodern with a touch of RKelly, Tobin as often shunned the limelight and glamour of the sports journalism scene and instead prefers to spend spare hours volunteering at an orphanage where he has contributed to establish a footballing centre of excellence for one-legged mountain men. “The orphans would only ruin the place”, he said.
