Setanta Sports have released details of their first 19 live Premiership fixtures and as expected, Sunderland’s trip to Old Trafford to take on Roy Keane’s old mentor Alex Ferguson and Man Utd is one of the first live fixtures. First up on August 11th, is Aston Villa’s home game with Liverpool. Expect a 0-0 draw there, fortunately things get better after that. Boro Vs Newcastle on August 26th will have plenty of spice, will finish 3-3 and there will be red cards a-plenty. Or your money back*. Man Utd V Sunderland is live the following Saturday and will be one of the most-watched programmes in the year 2007. Or your money back. Roy Keane’s return will be a bit special. The bookies will offer odds on touchline brawls, Keane making a substitute appearance, and Kieran Richardson having a good game. Ireland will reach fever pitch as their darling son takes on the grouchy Scot. Still, expect the grouchy Scot to have the last laugh there. Other than that, Arsenal V Sunderland, Chelsea V Blackburn and Newcastle-Spurs look like the best of the bunch. Can’t help feeling that maybe Setanta settled for second best with Sky, just so they could secure the Utd-Sunderland fixture. They managed to get lumped with the god-awful sounding Fulham V Man City fixture on September the 29th. Still, we’ll be watching no doubt…..
*Setanta in no way endorses this offer
